Job summary

Aspire People Limited is seeking flexible Supply Teachers for Primary and SEN settings around St Albans and Hertfordshire. You will teach across year groups, deliver prepared lessons, and adapt to diverse pupil needs in supportive schools.

Ideal candidates hold QTS, have SEN experience, and can work across various schools. Opportunities include day-to-day supply, regular weekly work, and longer-term placements with a dedicated consultant guiding you through placements.

Qualifications

• QTS required to teach in UK primary settings.
• Experience in SEN/SEND schools or specialist settings is desirable.
• Unqualified teachers with 12+ months UK classroom experience are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons and follow existing lesson plans.
• Manage classroom behaviour confidently and consistently.
• Support pupils with a range of abilities and additional needs.
• Adapt your approach to meet individual pupil needs.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SEN staff and school leaders.
• Provide continuity and stability for pupils during staff absence.
• Support the wider life of the school where required.
