Job summary

Aspire People Limited is seeking qualified Primary and SEN supply teachers for flexible day-to-day or longer-term placements in St Albans and surrounding areas in Hertfordshire. You'll work across a variety of primary and SEN settings with supportive school teams, delivering lessons, following plans, and adapting to pupils' needs, while maintaining high standards of behaviour and safeguarding.

All placements offer flexible hours to fit around your availability and provide a dedicated consultant

Qualifications

• Qualified Teachers with QTS and primary teaching experience.
• Experience working in SEN/SEND schools or specialist settings.
• Unqualified Teachers with at least 12 months' teaching experience within a UK school.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons and follow existing lesson plans.
• Manage classroom behaviour confidently and consistently.
• Support pupils with a range of abilities and additional needs.
• Adapt your approach to meet individual pupil needs.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SEN staff and school leaders.
• Provide continuity and stability for pupils during staff absence.
• Support the wider life of the school where required.

Supply Teachers - Primary & SEN St Albans Hertfordshire Flexible Supply Work

Are you an experienced Primary Teacher, SEN Teacher or Unqualified Teacher looking for flexible supply work in and around St Albans?

We are working with a range of welcoming primary and SEN schools across St Albans and the surrounding areas, looking for reliable, enthusiastic teachers who can make a positive impact in the classroom.

Whether you're looking for day-to-day supply, regular weekly work or longer-term opportunities, we would love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of primary and SEN settings, supporting pupils and maintaining a positive, engaging learning environment.

Requirements for Unqualified Teachers

• At least 12 months' experience working as an unqualified teacher within a UK school.

Experience in a primary or SEN setting would be highly desirable.
