Job summary

Aspire People is seeking passionate SEN Supply Teachers to support pupils with a range of additional needs across specialist and mainstream settings in and around Cambridge. You will deliver engaging lessons, adapt resources, and support both academic and social development.

Opportunities include day-to-day supply, longer placements, and potential permanent roles. A patient, adaptable approach and QTS are essential to succeed in diverse classroom environments.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Experience in Primary, Secondary or SEN settings is desirable.
• SEN/Autism experience is advantageous.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons to pupils with a range of additional needs.
• Teach small classes, groups and individuals.
• Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs.
• Follow existing lesson plans for day-to-day cover.
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement.
• Work alongside Teaching Assistants, SENCOs and other professionals.
• Create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
