Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Derby with flexible day-to-day, short-term, long-term, and potential permanent opportunities. You will assist teachers in EYFS to KS2, deliver targeted interventions, and help pupils reach their full potential in an inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in school settings is beneficial but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with pupils, teachers and parents.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions.
• Assist children with varying learning needs, including SEN.
• Promote positive behaviour and pupil engagement.
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Support teachers with classroom preparation and daily learning activities.
