Job summary

Teacher Active is seeking Midday Supervisors to work across Nottingham primary schools. The role covers lunchtime supervision in dining halls and playgrounds, promoting positive behaviour and safeguarding pupils.

Flexible, part‑time hours and ongoing opportunities are available with 24/7 support from consultants. Salary ranges £14.25–£16.00 per hour, depending on experience, with ASAP start and opportunities to gain school‑based experience.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people desirable
• Calm, patient and approachable manner
• Confident in managing behaviour and dealing with minor incidents
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and flexible approach to work
• Understanding safeguarding and pupil welfare
• Ability to follow school policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils in dining hall, playground and designated areas
• Promote positive behaviour and support pupils as required
• Help ensure lunchtime is safe, enjoyable and well‑ordered
