Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Midday Supervisor to support primary schools across Nottingham and surrounding areas. You will supervise lunchtime and playtime to ensure a safe, enjoyable environment and promote positive behaviour.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
• Passion for supporting children's well-being and development.
• Calm, patient and approachable manner.
• Confidence managing behaviour and dealing with minor incidents.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain alert and proactive when supervising children.
• Understanding of safeguarding and pupil welfare.
• Reliable and flexible approach to work.
• Ability to follow school policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunchtime in the dining hall.
• Supervise pupils in the playground and other designated areas.
• Promote positive behaviour and support pupils where required.
• Follow school policies and procedures.
