Job summary

Angard Recruitment is seeking flexible, temporary Post Persons with Driving to join Royal Mail in the UK. You will deliver letters and parcels, combining driving with walking across your round, and ensure secure, on-time delivery in varied weather and neighbourhoods.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, good physical fitness, and the ability to adapt to shifting schedules. It’s a temporary position with potential for permanency and offers pay rates aligned to shift type.

Qualifications

• Driving licence: Full, manual UK licence with no more than 6 points.
• High physical fitness: ability to walk up to 20,000 steps per day and handle up to 16 kg mailbag.
• Flexibility: able to work shifts at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as a Post Person with Driving.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van and complete route parts on foot.
• Handle and deliver election materials and other items per Royal Mail standards.
