Job summary

AB Agri Ltd is seeking self-employed, part-time Milk Samplers to cover farms across Newquay, Truro and Redruth. You will visit dairy farms, collect milk samples and drop them for lab analysis, enjoying flexible hours and field-based work.

This role emphasizes independence and reliability, with pay based on herd size (per cow) and the opportunity to work around your other commitments while supporting the dairy industry. Full training in safety and farm procedures is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence and own transport.
• Organised and self-motivated individuals.
• Interest in farm life and dairy production.

Responsibilities

• Visiting dairy farms to collect milk samples.
• Organising sample pots in a numerical order to be sent to the Lab.
• Working directly with farmers and dairy herds.
• Following farm bio-security procedures.
• Travelling between farms within the area.
