Job summary

AB Agri Ltd's National Milk Records division is seeking self-employed Milk Samplers for a part-time, field-based role across West Dorset and surrounding areas. You will visit dairy farms to collect milk samples and support herd health insights.

The role offers flexible hours with shifts covering mornings or evenings. You’ll work independently, managing travel between farms and adhering to farm bio-security procedures while building knowledge of dairy production.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence and own transport.
• Organised and self-motivated individuals.
• Interest in farm life and dairy production.

Responsibilities

• Visiting dairy farms to collect milk samples.
• Organising sample pots in a numerical order to be sent to the Lab.
• Working directly with farmers and dairy herds.
• Following farm bio-security procedures.
• Travelling between farms within the area.
