Job summary

The Limes Medical Centre in Walkden is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team. The role is 15 hours per week, 1:30pm-4:30pm Monday to Friday, with flexibility to cover holidays and sickness.

You will handle patient registrations, manage records, answer calls during busy periods, process prescription requests, and support KPI targets. GP receptionist experience and EMIS Web familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a GP receptionist or in a medical setting is preferred.
• Basic IT literacy is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient records and registrations.
• Handle a high volume of patient calls and booking appointments.
• Process repeat prescription requests accurately.
• Scan, file, read-code and upload clinical/administrative documents.
