Job summary

You will engage with patients, signpost to appropriate clinicians, and handle calls and online requests with accuracy. Prior GP surgery reception experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Basic Medical Terminology is required.
• EMIS proficiency is required.
• Experience as a GP receptionist or in a General Practice setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality reception and administration support to patients and visitors.
• Greet patients, offer advice and signpost to clinicians/services as needed.
• Answer phones and record information accurately in the EMIS system.
