Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. in Guildford is seeking a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team on a part-time basis. You will work flexible shifts between 8:00am and 6:00pm, helping create a safe, stimulating and inclusive nursery environment for children.

The role requires a Level 3 EY qualification, nursery experience, and a good understanding of the EYFS. Paediatric First Aid is desirable. Competitive salary dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification is essential.
• Previous nursery/childcare experience is essential.
• Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment while maintaining appropriate staff-to-child ratios and following nursery policies and procedures.
• Observing and assessing children's development and maintaining accurate, high-quality records.
• Supporting safeguarding, health, safety, and welfare procedures, including completing relevant risk assessments and documentation.
• Working as part of a team to provide consistently high standards of care, learning, and education.
