Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Woking is seeking a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner for a part-time, flexible role within a welcoming nursery. Shifts run between 8:00am and 6:00pm to suit you, with a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

You will create safe, stimulating activities, support EYFS learning, keep records, and work closely with families while maintaining safeguarding standards. Full Level 3 EYFS qualification and paediatric first aid are essential, with prior nursery

Qualifications

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years Qualification (essential).
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or childcare setting (essential).
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Paediatric First Aid qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Providing a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children, while maintaining staff-to-child ratios and adhering to nursery policies
  • Planning and supporting exciting play-based activities that encourage learning and development
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues
  • Observing, assessing, and recording children's progress with accurate and high-quality documentation
  • Ensuring safeguarding, health, and welfare standards are upheld at all times, including completing risk assessments and relevant records
  • Supporting the settling-in process for new children and working closely with families to ensure a smooth and positive transition

As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in creating an inspiring and engaging environment where every child feels safe, valued, and supported.

Requirements:
