Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. in Woking is seeking a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner for a part-time, flexible role within a welcoming nursery environment. You will create a safe, inclusive setting and support children’s play and development.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification required.
• Previous nursery or childcare experience essential.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Paediatric First Aid qualification.

Responsibilities

• Providing a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children, while maintaining staff-to-child ratios and adhering to nursery policies.
• Planning and supporting exciting play-based activities that encourage learning and development.
• Building positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
• Observing, assessing, and recording children's progress with accurate and high-quality documentation.
• Ensuring safeguarding, health, and welfare standards are upheld at all times, including completing risk assessments and relevant records.
• Supporting the settling-in process for new children and working closely with families to ensure a smooth and positive transition.
