Barchester Healthcare is seeking a friendly Gardener to maintain our care home grounds to a high standard and contribute to a calm, welcoming environment for residents. You’ll manage planting, pruning, lawn care, and basic upkeep of outdoor spaces, while keeping equipment safe and tidy and assisting with winter clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in gardening spanning beds, lawns and seasonal planting.
• Understanding of health and safety and COSHH regulations.
• Patient, empathetic approach with residents and colleagues.

Responsabilités

• Maintain grounds to a high standard and keep outdoor spaces welcoming.
• Look after equipment and structures such as fencing and planting.
• Clear snow and ice in winter and assist with seasonal gardening tasks.
• Support residents with a safe, pleasant outdoor environment.
