Job summary

Teaching Personnel are seeking enthusiastic Nursery Assistants and Early Years Practitioners to work across Torbay nurseries and early years settings. Flexible short-term and long-term placements with regular hours are available, perfect for qualified staff seeking variety or a longer-term position.

You should have a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery/EY qualification, experience with young children, and a caring, patient approach. An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply) is required.

Qualifications

• Requires Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery/EY qualification.
• Experience working with young children.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children within an Early Years setting.
• Helping to create a safe, welcoming and engaging environment.
• Supporting learning through play and age-appropriate activities.
• Working alongside Early Years staff to support children's development.
• Building positive relationships with children, staff and parents/carers.
