Vertas is seeking a Relief Mobile Caretaker to keep our sites in Derbyshire safe, clean and welcoming. The role is flexible, ad hoc with zero-hour contracts across multiple locations, including Saint John Houghton School and surrounding areas.

You'll open/close facilities, manage waste, assist with porterage, basic repairs, light decorating, cleaning, and support day-to-day operations. Candidates should have caretaking or facilities experience, good customer service, and a proactive,

Formación

• Experience in caretaking, maintenance, facilities, trades or general handyperson work.
• Good communication and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong health and safety awareness and proactive approach.

Responsabilidades

• Open and lock facilities; act as key holder where required.
• Handle waste management and recycling duties.
• Provide porterage and site support to ensure smooth site operation.
• Perform general maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
• Carry out light decorating and cleaning tasks to maintain site presentation.
• Support day-to-day operations across multiple Derbyshire sites.
