Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Nursery Practitioner for a school-based nursery in Hereford. The role involves flexible cover from 8:30am to 3:30pm, supporting children aged 2 to 4 years within an Early Years environment.

Immediate start with PAYE salary of £92.63–£110 per day; the nursery emphasises a caring, safe, and engaging learning space. Experience in EYFS and a genuine interest in early years development are essential, with reliability and team cooperation key attributes for this cover

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare is required.
• Experience working with children aged 2–4 years.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS.
• Caring and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children.
• Reliability and flexibility to provide cover when required.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a nursery team.

Responsibilities

• Provide cover for in-house staff absences during nursery hours 8:30am–3:30pm.
• Support children throughout the nursery day in a safe, engaging environment.
• Contribute to children’s learning and development within the EYFS framework.
