Job summary

Kent County Council is recruiting Personal Advisers for the 18+ Care Leavers Service to support care-experienced young people up to age 25. You will be their first point of contact, providing flexible support, advice and help with planning as they leave care and transition to adulthood.

The role requires strong organisational skills, ability to travel across Kent and Medway, a Full UK Driving Licence, and a commitment to collaborative working with partners.

Qualifications

• Flexible, organised, and able to manage priorities.
• Ability to build relationships with colleagues and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for care-experienced young people up to age 25.
• Provide flexible support, assistance and advice as they plan leaving care and transition to adulthood.
• Encourage and support detailed Pathway Plans and their implementation.
• Travel across Kent and Medway to support young people with timely visits.
• Record work clearly and participate in supervision, training and reflections meetings.
