Job summary

Kent County Council is recruiting Personal Advisers for the 18+ Care Leavers Service based at Worrall House. You will support care-experienced young people up to 25, helping them prepare for leaving care and transition to adulthood.

You will encourage active participation, develop detailed Pathway Plans, and collaborate with colleagues and partner agencies to meet young people's needs. Flexible, organised, and able to travel across Kent is essential.

Responsibilities

• Be first point of contact for care-experienced young people up to 25, providing flexible support, advice and planning.
• Encourage participation and develop Pathway Plans enabling transition to adulthood and independent living.
• Build close working relationships with colleagues and other agencies, and advocate for young people's needs.
• Be able to travel across a wide geographical area in Kent/Medway and sometimes outside, with flexible hours and time in lieu for out-of-hours work.
• Role requires a Full UK Driving Licence and enhanced DBS clearance.
