Job summary

N Family Club in the UK is seeking a flexible, energetic Flexi Chef to cook for children across our nurseries. You’ll prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, while adapting to different age groups and dietary needs.

The role offers a Casual Working Agreement with shifts that suit you and opportunities to support multiple bases. As part of a nutrition-focused team, you’ll follow approved recipes, maintain hygiene to a 5-star standard, and help mentor apprentice chefs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a nursery or school kitchen.
• Experience catering for diverse dietary needs.
• Knowledge of food allergens and child nutrition.
• Ability to work to nursery budgets.

Responsibilities

• Cook fresh meals for children, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.
• Follow nutritionist-designed recipes and menus.
• Prepare daily lunch and smoothie for nursery team.
• Manage kitchen paperwork, due diligence diary, and cleaning schedule.
• Order food, manage stock, and maintain hygiene to a 5-star standard.
• Mentor and support nursery apprentices as needed.
