Job summary

N Family Club in Hove is seeking a Flexi Chef to cook breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for children across age groups. The role supports varied shift patterns on a casual, 0-hour contract, with daily meals for nursery staff and opportunities to mentor apprentices.

You'll follow our nutritionist-designed recipes, manage dietary needs, and maintain kitchen hygiene to the highest standard, contributing to a friendly, child-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must have Food Safety and Hygiene Level 2 or above (Level 3 during induction if not already held).

Responsibilities

• Cook fresh and inspiring food for our children, with occasional weekends.
• Follow nutritionist-designed recipes and menus to ensure vitamin-rich meals.
• Cater to differing dietary needs and follow allergy guidelines.
• Prepare a daily lunch and smoothie for nursery team, accommodating dietary requirements.
• Maintain kitchen paperwork, daily due diligence diary and cleaning schedule.
• Order groceries, manage stock rotation and liaise with supplier for deliveries.
