Job summary

Age UK Leeds is recruiting an Help at Home Support Worker to join our Help at Home team. You will deliver domestic and social support to older people in Leeds, visiting clients in their own homes across LS4-8, LS13, LS16-21 and LS28.

The role is variable hours up to 30 per week, with a full driving licence and access to a vehicle required. Training is provided and travel across designated postcodes is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering domestic and social support to older people.
• Experience working in community settings on a 1:1 basis is advantageous.
• Full driving license and access to a vehicle for business use.
• Training provided; certificates relevant to the role are welcome.
• Willingness to travel across designated Leeds postcodes LS4-8, LS13, LS16-21 and LS28.

Responsibilities

• Deliver domestic and social support to older people in their own homes.
• Travel to clients across Leeds postcodes within service area.
• Work up to 30 hours over 5 days, Monday to Friday, on a variable hours contract.
• Assist with mobility and daily tasks, ensuring safety and wellbeing.
