Job summary

1st Homecare is looking for a compassionate Support Worker in Leeds Outreach. In this part-time role, you will provide support to a diverse range of individuals with unique needs. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living tasks and promoting independence. The position offers 25 flexible hours per week at £12.71 per hour and includes benefits such as 28 days paid holiday and fully accredited training. Qualifications

• Experience with autism and learning disabilities is desirable.
• Understanding behaviors that challenge is a plus.
• Must be flexible and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living tasks such as meal preparation.
• Promote independence and choice among individuals.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.

Skills

Understanding of mental health conditions

Experience supporting individuals with complex or forensic needs

Confidence working with safeguarding

Education

MAPPA training or similar
