Job summary

Brinsbury College is seeking a Horticulture Resource Coordinator to manage day-to-day horticultural resources across our campus and glasshouses. You will support staff and students during practical and theory sessions, and ensure health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Relevant horticultural industry experience.
• A Level 2 Horticulture qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supervising groups and supporting learners.
• Knowledge of horticultural health and safety legislation.
• Practical experience of machinery operation and horticultural practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day horticultural and glasshouse resources.
• Support staff and students during practical and theory sessions.
• Take ownership of health and safety procedures, risk assessments and compliance.
• Supervise apprentices and student workers, where required.
• Manage stock control, ordering and resource budgets.
