Job summary

Brinsbury College is seeking an experienced Horticulture Resource Coordinator to manage day-to-day horticultural and glasshouse resources and to support staff and students during practical and theory sessions.

You will take ownership of health and safety procedures, risk assessments and compliance, while supervising apprentices and student workers and managing stock control, ordering and resource budgets.

Qualifications

• Relevant horticultural industry experience.
• A Level 2 qualification in Horticulture (or equivalent).
• Experience supervising groups and supporting learners.
• Knowledge of horticultural health and safety legislation.
• Practical experience of machinery operation and horticultural practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day horticultural and glasshouse resources.
• Support staff and students during practical and theory sessions.
• Take ownership of health and safety procedures, risk assessments and compliance.
• Supervise apprentices and student workers, where required.
• Manage stock control, ordering and resource budgets.
