Axcis Education is recruiting for a dedicated HLTA to provide ad-hoc cover at a welcoming primary school in Bilston. The role focuses on supporting the SEND department, delivering targeted interventions and helping pupils access learning.

You will deliver small group and 1:1 interventions, work with pupils with SEND including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents to promote an inclusive learning environment.

Competenze

• HLTA status or equivalent classroom experience within a primary school setting.
• Experience supporting children with SEND.
• Experience delivering interventions and supporting targeted learning programmes.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Patient, adaptable and proactive approach.

Mansioni

• Provide ad-hoc cover across the primary school as required.
• Support the SEND department with the delivery of targeted interventions.
• Deliver small group and 1:1 intervention sessions focused on academic, social and emotional development.
• Work with pupils with SEND needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication difficulties.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and SEND professionals.
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• Help create a nurturing, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
