GSL Education Leicester is recruiting experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Leicester and Leicestershire. You will support pupils in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 and deliver planned learning activities.

Qualifications

• HLTA status or Level 4 qualification required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a primary school setting is essential.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Experience leading learning activities and covering whole-class lessons.
• Commitment to pupil achievement and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned learning activities to individuals, small groups, and whole classes.
• Cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Work with teaching staff to promote pupil progress and achievement.
• Adapt learning activities to meet different abilities and learning styles.
• Support pupils with SEND and EAL needs.
• Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress and engagement.
