Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel seeks a Consultant Cellular Pathologist to join the expanding Histopathology Department in Herefordshire. The role offers full flexibility between full-time and part-time work within a fully UKAS accredited lab and access to modern digital pathology facilities.

You will have opportunities for leadership, service development, teaching and innovation, with remote/home reporting options and dedicated office space to support high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Consultant cellular pathology experience required.
• Interest in breast pathology, cytopathology or digital pathology advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive histopathology and non-gynaecological cytopathology service across surgical specimens.
• participate in MDT meetings, governance, audits and educational activities.
• Engage with special interests to strengthen services and drive innovation in pathology.
