Job summary

Halton Borough Council is seeking an applicant to manage licence applications for highway works, issue permits, and maintain accurate records. The role involves producing enforcement reports and liaising with utility companies and agencies to ensure compliant activities on the highway.

• Issue permits and licences within statutory timescales.
• Produce reports and evidence to support enforcement.
• Raise invoices for permits and other payments.
• Coordinate with highways colleagues and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Receive, assess and determine licence applications for a range of highway related activity
• Issue accurate permits and licences within statutory (or other) timescales and retain accurate information
• Produce reports containing accurate information and evidence to support the enforcement process
• Raise invoices for charges incurred by utility companies for permits and other payments
• Liaise with highways colleagues and other agencies regarding activity on the highway and enforcement
