Job summary

Bath College is seeking a Qualified Lecturer to contribute to the Department's aim of providing high-quality learning and teaching across the Adult Skills Health provision. The role involves developing curricula, coordinating assessments and supporting learners, with safeguarding checks in place as part of the recruitment process.

The post offers a flexible 3 days per week schedule (must include Friday) with 8:30 am–5:00 pm slots and potential evening sessions, salary £32,186.70 to £40,015.50

Qualifications

• Must hold a relevant health qualification.
• Experience of working in a care or clinical setting.
• Teaching qualification required or desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning and monitor assessment processes in line with awarding body requirements.
• Provide induction, initial assessment, guidance and support to learners on programmes of study.
• Deliver core and additional programmes with a clinical health focus and support Adult Skills Health provision.
• Produce schemes of work, lesson plans, assessment plans and learning materials.
• Coordinate and maintain records of formative and summative assessments.
• Communicate exam entries and timetable arrangements to staff and students.
