Bath College invites applications for a Lecturer in Health to contribute to the department’s aim of providing high quality learning and teaching. You will help develop and deliver the Health curriculum, ensuring learners achieve set levels across programmes and safeguarding responsibilities are upheld.

The role requires DBS checks, and staff are expected to participate in safeguarding practices and promote a safe learning environment for students and vulnerable learners.

Formación

• Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
• Experience in a care or clinical setting (hospital ward; nursing; care home; domiciliary care).
• Relevant qualification in health field.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high standards of teaching and learning and monitor assessment processes.
• Deliver departmental requirements of core and additional programmes, with a clinical health focus.
• Support delivery on T Level Health, BTEC Level 3 Health and Social Care, and HE programmes as required.
• Produce schemes of work, lesson plans, assessment plans and learning materials.
• Co-ordinate and maintain records of formative and summative assessments.
