Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support regional primary care clinics in Hebburn. This role involves routine clinical tasks, patient-facing procedures and general clinic support within organised GP environments.

You will conduct routine observations, assist with treatment room tasks, perform ECGs and health checks, and help maintain smooth patient flow. DBS check is required; experience in GP, community or NHS settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Healthcare Assistant experience in GP, community or NHS settings
• Confident in routine patient observations
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Ability to adapt to new clinics and workflows
• Phlebotomy experience beneficial
