Locum Ready is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support regional primary care clinics across Westburn Road. You will perform routine clinical tasks, patient-facing procedures and general support in GP clinics.

You will contribute to safe, efficient patient care by carrying out observations, assisting with clinical tasks and supporting day-to-day running of the clinic.

Qualifications

• Healthcare Assistant experience in GP, community or NHS settings.
• Confident with routine patient observations.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to adapt to new clinics and workflows.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine clinical observations.
• Support treatment room tasks and basic procedures.
• Perform ECGs and routine health checks.
• Assist with phlebotomy where trained.
• Record information accurately in clinical systems.
• Provide general assistance to nursing and clinical teams.
