Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting face-to-face Tutors to work flexibly with children and young people across Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire. This temporary position allows commitments from 1 day per week up to full time, depending on your availability and preferences.

You will deliver personalised learning sessions, support learners with additional needs, and follow safeguarding procedures. A PGCE or equivalent qualification (or significant tutoring experience) and the right to work in

Qualifications

• Proven tutoring or teaching experience with children/young people.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and reporting.
• Ability to adapt teaching to different learning needs.
• Willingness to undertake background checks where required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, personalised learning sessions across varied settings.
• Support learners with additional academic or emotional needs.
• Adapt teaching approaches to individual styles and abilities.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to relevant professionals.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and report concerns.
