Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD is seeking qualified tutors to deliver face-to-face sessions in North Hull. You will support children and young people with education, confidence and academic progress, on a flexible, temporary basis.

Responsibilities include delivering engaging learning, adapting to learners' needs, monitoring progress, and following safeguarding procedures. This role offers varied placements from 1 day per week to full-time, with access to CPD.

Qualifications

• A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, or significant tutoring/education experience.
• Experience working with children or young people in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, or willingness to apply.
• Overseas police checks where applicable.
• CV covering full work history.
• The legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised, face-to-face tutoring to children and young people.
• Support learners with additional educational or emotional needs.
• Adapt teaching approaches to individual learning styles.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback.
• Follow safeguarding procedures at all times.
• Build consistent relationships with learners over longer periods.
