Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD is seeking qualified tutors to deliver face-to-face sessions in North Hull. You will support children and young people with education, confidence and academic progress, on a flexible, temporary basis.

Responsibilities include delivering engaging learning, adapting to learners' needs, monitoring progress, and following safeguarding procedures. This role offers varied placements from 1 day per week to full-time, with access to CPD.

Qualifications

• A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, or significant tutoring/education experience.
• Experience working with children or young people in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, or willingness to apply.
• Overseas police checks where applicable.
• CV covering full work history.
• The legal right to work in the UK.

Face-to-Face Tutors Needed - North Hull

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting face-to-face Tutors in North Hull to support children and young people with their education, confidence and academic progress.

Are you a qualified teacher, experienced tutor or education professional looking for flexible work? We have temporary tutoring opportunities available, offering anything from 1 day per week to full-time work, depending on your availability and preferences.

The Role

You will deliver personalised, face-to-face tutoring to children and young people who may be out of mainstream education or require additional academic support. Sessions may take place in students' homes, schools, alternative provisions or community venues, working on a 1:1 or small-group basis.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging, tailored learning sessions.
• Supporting learners with additional educational or emotional needs.
• Adapting teaching approaches to individual learning styles.
• Monitoring progress and providing feedback.
• Following safeguarding procedures at all times.
• Consistency is key, with many placements offering the opportunity to work with the same learners over a longer period and build positive, supportive relationships.
