Job summary

Vision for Education is seeking a SEND Tutor to support students who cannot access mainstream education. The role is 1:1 and involves teaching Maths and English at various levels, with a flexible start date and both online and in-person sessions across Hull.

The successful candidate will have teaching qualifications, experience with SEND/SEMH and trauma, monitor progress with weekly reports, and enjoy the autonomy of scheduling hours while receiving weekly pay and CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to deliver Maths and English sessions.
• Experience of working with young people with SEND, SEMH and trauma.
• Teaching qualifications/experience.
• Monitor progress and provide weekly reports.

Responsibilities

• Teach Maths and English 1:1 at various levels.
• Support academic and personal development.
• Sessions may be online, in schools, local communities or in student homes.
• Build knowledge and confidence so learners grow.
• Provide tailored teaching approaches.
