Job summary

Broadacres Housing Association Ltd. is seeking an Estate Caretaker to join the Operational Repairs team. The role covers caretaking, cleaning, landscape maintenance and minor repairs across our estates, with responsibilities to inspect areas and liaise with customers and contractors.

You will use a PDA to manage tasks, respond to issues promptly and support first-time fixes where possible. A driving licence and willingness to work outdoors in all weather are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in estate or building maintenance or caretaking.
• Able to perform outdoor tasks in all weather.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willing to work outside normal hours, including emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Inspect internal and external communal areas and report issues.
• Clean and carry out landscaping maintenance across estates.
• Perform minor repairs to fencing, signs, benches and communal facilities.
• Coordinate with residents, councils, suppliers and contractors; use PDA to manage tasks.
