Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment is seeking Estate Caretakers for a temporary contract in Brent (HA9). You will clean, maintain and supervise internal, external and common areas across housing blocks and estates, working 8am–4pm, Monday to Friday.

The role involves high standards of cleanliness and safety, working as part of a team to keep the estate tidy and hazard-free. 4 positions available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for keeping the estate clean, tidy, landscaped and safe for residents.
• Identify improvements to internal and external environment by working as part of a team.
• Rotate bins and prepare bulk bins for collection.
• Sweep and wash communal stairs and landings as needed.
• Clean internal ledges, sills, handrails, doors and walls; remove cobwebs from light fittings.
• After removing refuse, hose down and disinfect the area.

Estate Caretaker Static role

• Temp contract till end December 2026
• PAYE: 15.68per hour PAYE or 20.65 per hour Umbrella
• Location: Brent HA9
• 4 positions available

My client is a well-known housing association and they're seeking experienced Estate Caretakers to clean and maintain internal, external and all common areas of housing blocks and estates.

• Hours 8am to 4pm Monday - Friday

Key Responsibility:

• Take personal responsibility for ensuring that the estate is clean, tidy, landscaped, litter free and safe from hazards by delivering a high quality caretaking and grounds maintenance service to residents.
• Identify and assist in ways to improve the internal and external environment through working closely as part of a team and taking pride in the role.
• Rotate bins regularly to ensure refuse chutes are clear and ensure bulk bins are placed ready for collection.
• Sweep and wash communal staircase and landings as appropriate.
• Clean internal ledges, sills, handrails, balustrades, doors, walls and remove cobwebs from light fittings and all surrounding.
• Following the removal of refuse from the dustbins/bulk refuse containers, hose down and disinfect the area.
