Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (essential).
• Paediatric First Aid (desirable).
• Experience in nursery or Early Years setting.
• Good knowledge of EYFS framework.

Responsibilities

• Support the learning, development and wellbeing of children aged 0-5 in line with EYFS.
• Provide high-quality care in a safe, nurturing environment.
• Create engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
• Plan activities promoting social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
• Recognise and respond to each child's needs and stage of development.
• Encourage children's confidence, independence and communication skills.
• Assist with planning and delivering activities that promote development.
• Build positive relationships with children, colleagues, parents and carers.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and promote children's welfare.
