YMCA Fairthorne Manor Nursery in Southampton area is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to support play-based learning and children’s development within a caring team. You will help children learn through outdoor exploration and build strong relationships with families.

We welcome Level 2/3 practitioners or those studying, with safeguarding awareness; training and apprenticeship pathways are available, plus supportive benefits and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or working towards one).
• Caring, patient and curious approach to children's learning.
• Willingness to follow EYFS and participate in safeguarding practices.

Responsabilités

• Build warm, secure relationships with children.
• Support children’s confidence, independence and emotional development.
• Create engaging learning experiences through play and outdoor activity.
• Observe development and contribute to next steps in learning.
