Job summary

YMCA Fairthorne Group Newport Nursery is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to support children through play-based learning and caring, patient guidance. You will help children learn, grow and develop confidence in a welcoming nursery setting, with opportunities for flexible hours and part-time roles.

Qualified candidates with Level 2/3 EYQ or working towards one are invited to apply, including career changers with related experience in education or care.

Qualifications

• Hold Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or working towards one.
• Caring, patient and enthusiastic about helping children thrive.
• Able to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Commitment to inclusive, play-based learning and safeguarding.
