Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd is seeking a committed Domiciliary Care Assistant to join a well-established home care service in Birmingham, West Midlands. You will assist clients with personal care, meals, and daily tasks in their own homes, supporting wellbeing and independence.

This permanent part-time role is 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling, visits from 30 minutes to longer shifts, and opportunities for training, career progression, and enhanced skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or dementia settings.
• Proven caring attitude and empathy.
• Ability to listen and respond sensitively.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care tasks.
• Preparing meals and aiding with eating and drinking.
• Domestic help including laundry and cleaning.
• Monitoring changes in wellbeing, mobility or behaviour.
• Accurate documentation of duties and observations.
