Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is sourcing a committed Domiciliary Care Assistant for a leading home care service based in Birmingham. This flexible role covers visits from 30 minutes to full-time live-in care, offering variety and work-life balance.

You will assist with personal care, medication, meals, domestic tasks, and monitor wellbeing, with ongoing training and progression opportunities. Part-time 20 hours per week, £12.71 per hour, benefits and annual pay reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a care/dementia setting.
• Passionate about caring for others.
• A great listener with a positive outlook.
• Previous experience in Domiciliary Care.
• Always ready to lead by example and support the wider team.

Responsibilities

This is an exceptional home care service fully flexible, designed to fit life with visits starting from just 30 minutes all the way up to full-time, 24-hour live-in care

As a Dom Care Assistant our key duties include:

• Assisting clients with personal care tasks
• Medication administration
• Preparing meals and supporting clients during eating and drinking, where required
• Domestic help including laundry and general cleaning
• Monitoring changes in clients wellbeing, mobility or behaviour
• Ensuring accurate documentation of any duties completed and observations

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Experience of working in a care/dementia setting
• Passionate about caring for others
• A great listener with a positive outlook
• Previous experience in Domiciliary Care
• Always ready to lead by example and support the wider team
