Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting flexible Post Persons with Driving to join our delivery teams. You will drive Royal Mail vans and also walk parts of your route to ensure timely deliveries, representing the service in your community.

This is a dynamic role with varying shifts, requiring endurance, good customer service, and the ability to adapt to changing schedules. Competitive pay and local opportunities accompany a meaningful role.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry mail up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area, using a Royal Mail van and on foot where needed.
• Securely deliver all items on your route, including election materials and certain items per business standards.
• Act as the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering reliably come rain or shine.
