Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible postal delivery drivers. You will be the face of Royal Mail, delivering letters and parcels across your round, with some walking between stops and duties on foot.

Role requires a full, manual UK driving licence (max 6 points) and physical fitness to walk long distances while handling mailbags up to 16kg. Shifts vary and a driving assessment is required at start.

Qualifications

• Valid UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Physically fit to walk ~20,000 steps a day and lift a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Flexible shifts and ability to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as a Royal Mail post person with driving.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and complete parts of the route on foot.
• Handle and deliver election materials and certain items like food products or alcohol per Royal Mail standards.
