Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking flexible Delivery Drivers for the Pontypridd Delivery Office. You will deliver letters and parcels across your route, driving a Royal Mail van and completing parts of the route on foot to provide exceptional service.

Applicants should hold a full, manual UK driving licence (no more than 6 points) and be able to walk 20,000 steps a day with shifts that vary. This is a community-facing role with competitive pay and potential for ongoing hours.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK Driving Licence with up to 6 points.
• Ability to walk long distances (up to 20,000 steps daily) and handle a mailbag up to 16 kg.
• Shifts can vary; must be able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels along your route by van and on foot.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van and complete parts of your route safely.
• Ensure items reach destinations and handle election materials per standards.
