Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking flexible individuals to join as Delivery Drivers in Pontypool, working as Post Persons with Driving. You will drive a Royal Mail van on your round, delivering letters and parcels while staying active and connected to the community.

You'll walk substantial distances and may handle items like election materials in line with Royal Mail standards. The role offers shift variety and a chance to be part of a trusted national service.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16 kg.
• Shifts can vary and require adaptability to short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as part of the Royal Mail team.
• Drive your delivery route and complete parts on foot while providing excellent service.
• Ensure items reach their destination safely and on time.
