Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You will be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels across your round, sometimes on foot.

As a Post Person with Driving, you will drive a delivery route, walk segments of your route, and ensure secure delivery of all items. A full UK driving licence and the ability to walk long distances are required.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16 kg.
• Shifts can vary and require team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels as part of your round.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and walk parts of your route to complete deliveries.
• Ensure items reach their destination safely and handle election materials per standards.
